A prayer request

My Girlfriend's father has recently been in a car accident, he is an elderly gent on an air canister and is getting well on in his years, she will be the worse off without him should the worst happen. This is a rather personal request for their sake, I ask that you pray for them both and that her father makes a speedy recovery. Thank you.

  1. First no prayer request is ever personal when it is requested for yourself or another. You are granted grace for that act alone.

Dear Lord, here is a new day you have given us in which to love you and to help others to love you. Above all things, help us to love and accept your holy will. Lord Jesus, in giving him this cross of his injuries, it was your desire to bring him nearer to your Divine Heart. Amen.

Teach us, O Lord, to do your will, for you are our God. Keep us, Lord, as the apple of your eye; hide us in the shadow of your wings. O Lord, remember not against us the iniquities of the past; may your compassion quickly come to us. Amen.

  2. I'm very sorry to hear your news Servent of the Cheif & I pray your girlfriends father has a speedy recovery.

  3. I add my own prayers. I am late to the game, as I dotn chekc this site often. I hope this is OK.
